About Gaish/Bremner and many more tree
Hi everyone this is the new site for my tree and hope it lasts, this tree contains
the family of myself my wife and my Grandchildren, of whom I have found are of
various descents Irish,Scottish and English. My Aunt has always stated that we the
Gaish's had Jewish links but to date no such trace, however the surname Gaish is the
Arabic word for Army. I thought I would find the Jewish link on my Leven's side but
still no trace perhaps my Aunt was wrong.
Hope you all find the tree easy to use I am happy to accept messages pointing out my
errors so please do not hesitate to tell me its appreciated.
The information on the tree comes from Great Cressingham Parish records held by me
Newcastle Records from Family History Library, Redcar Parish Records and various
County Family History sites, the census's, Free Reg, Free BMD,and most of all from
many of you and others. I have spent hours checking and re checking the information
on my tree and will not add new information unless I have proven it myself.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
